Foot pain can be a debilitating and significant problem prompting new clients to present to our clinic.

Foot pain can develop from injury or strain to the structures of your foot such as your muscles/tendons, ligaments and joints.

Because foot pain can have so many causes, it’s very important to have foot pain assessed comprehensively and diagnosed accurately to ensure that the correct treatment and management can take place.

This may require a client to have a computerised gait scan on their Initial consultation to assess how they walk, move and load stress through their feet.

Careful evaluation ensures proper resolution of your symptoms and prevention of recurrence.

Common sources of foot pain include

• Plantar Fasciitis
• Achilles tendonopathy
• Metatarsalgia
• Fallen Arches
• Bunions
• Severs Disease

To diagnose the cause of a client’s foot pain we provide:

• An Initial Consultation with one of our experienced Chiropractors.
• A Thorough Physical assessment of your legs and feet giving consideration to your leg flexibility, alignment of your feet, orthopaedic and neurological tests as appropriate.
• A computerised gait assessment if necessary.

AFTER ASSESSMENT

Once we have carefully assessed and determined which structures are at fault we will recommend to you the most effective treatment/ exercises for the problem and discuss with you the factors that are likely to be behind the development of the problem so that we may prevent reoccurrence.

We will explain to you the findings of your physical examination, if you had x- rays or MRI we will show you the images and explain all relevant findings so you understand why your condition started.
